Charlotte Newson and Oxfam Explore the Impact of The Public Spending Cuts on Women

Charlotte is currently facilitating a series of creative workshops with the Service Users of the Pankhurst Centre. These workshops are being hosted in conjunction with Oxfam and are designed to creatively explore the impact of the public spending cuts on women.

There is also a focus on guiding the woman with media relations – designed to assist them to get their voices and opinions heard in the wider community.

The workshops will culminate in a “Living Books” style exhibition. In this format, the article is exhibited with an opportunity to refer directly to the creator in person. This allows the viewer to ask questions and explore more fully the story and the motivation behind the development of each piece.

The exhibition will be hosted in October at a venue to be confirmed. Watch this space!
