ABRIDGED CV 2019

CV. (ABRIDGED) SELECTED WORK: CHARLOTTE NEWSON
I became carer for my terminally ill mother for 3 years, gradually leading to 24-hour care in her final year 2016. An experience so completely encompassing – the artwork – if there is any – is yet to come from this period.
As a process led artist materials are selected through the development of individual pieces and reflective critique, a fusion of light, colour, textures and voices, across a broad palette.
I received an Honorary Doctorate in 2018, from The University of Suffolk presented by Helen Pankhurst, at her inauguration as Chancellor.
